Thermafiber Introduces FRF 114 Milled Mineral Wool Fibers
New high-performance fiber ideal for plastics and friction parts

WABASH, IN, April 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thermafiber, Inc., has launched FRF 114, the newest product in their line of performance mineral wool fibers.

FRF 114 has been engineered as an economical filler and reinforcement fiber for a host of products. The highly refined fibers have excellent reinforcement strength, superior heat and fire resistance, viscosity modification and friction properties. Some of the applications for FRF 114 include plastics, cements, friction products, gaskets, caulks and adhesives.

Like all Thermafiber mineral wool products, FRF 114 offers a very high recycled content of up to 85%. FRF 114 fibers are also available with water-absorbent and repellent surface treatments. These milled fibers are easily poured and blended into mixtures and batching systems.
