James A. Trainham named Executive of the Year in Alternative Energy

BOULDER, CO, March 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --James A. Trainham, Senior Vice President of Engineering for Sundrop Fuels, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in alternative energy.

With a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and more than three decades of experience in the chemical industry, James A. Trainham is a distinguished professional in his field. He now thrives in his second year as Senior VP of Engineering for Sundrop Fuels, where he lends his expertise in technology and management to develop Sundrop Fuels unique solar gasification technology and commercial facility designs.

Dr. Trainham now seeks to grow Sundrop Fuels into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. His professional excellence has been recognized by several prominent organizations, and he has been honored by his election to the National Academy of Engineering. A member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, he was presented with the Chemical Engineering Practice Award, and was named amongst the "Top 100 Chemical Engineers of the Modern Era." Today, Dr. Trainham serves on a number of University advisory boards including the College of Chemistry and the Board of Trustees for the University of California at Berkeley.
