ARVADA, CO, June 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John P. Garrett, Owner of JP Garrett & Assoc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Garrett specializes in radiochemistry. He performs environmental monitoring support for nuclear facilities including laboratory data assessment, compliance, and auditing. Currently supervises six chemists and manages US DOE complex, multi-regional EPA support, state and local projects. He started his own company after gaining experience performing environmental radio-chemical and standard chemical analysis assessments for Rocky Flats and other sites. In FY09-10 the company submitted 7 proposals with 5 wins, 1loss and 1 pending, demonstration an outstanding win ratio. He attributes his success to teamwork, a high level of experience, and superior product for cost.

Mr. Garrett received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of Arizona in 1989 and his Ph.D. from the Colorado School of Mines in 2010. Instrumental in the final closing of Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site Remediation in 2006, he achieved the Environmental Data Assessment Award. In the future, he intends to further develop his business and manage international projects particularly in the UK.
